How do you make a gift box out of a bag?
It’s Holiday time and you’ve run out of gift wrap. Turn a paper bag into a “Gift Box” ~ #CraftyMommyMonday
- Grab your paper bag and lay it flat (Plus if it has a cute Xmas design).
- Open up the bag and turn the side towards you.
- Wrap gift in tissue paper or leave as is and place inside bag.
How do you make a large gift bag smaller?
The hard bit: Lay the bag on it’s side and fold the sides in, at 45 degrees. Half of one side is shown folded. Tape across the join. Fold and compress the bag until it folds flat, Sellotape across bottom (Sellotape across the bottom on the inside as well if you feel it necessary.)

To measure these bags, we measure Length, by Width, by Height. For this example, we have an 8” x 5“ x10” Bag. The first measurement is the length, the second is the width, and the third is the height. Keep in mind that the handles are not included in the height.
